Skills2Learn, Babcock's Digital Learning Solutions business, has recently announced two new contracts providing digital support for leading organisations.

The first contract, with British Airways (BA) will see Skills2Learn working with BA to convert their existing basic aircraft engineering training programme course material into engaging and interactive digital books (mBooks) for deployment onto the BA Learning Management System. The mBooks will be accessible to approximately 6,000 aircraft engineers and apprentices from this month as part of their on-going training and continuing professional development.

Under the second contract, Skills2Learn will work with BAE Systems to provide maintenance and support for one of their training tools throughout 2015. The system will be used by approximately 1,200 Royal Mechanical engineers.

Majid Al-Kader, Managing Director of Skills2Learn, said: "This is an exciting new chapter in the evolution of Skills2Learn and we are delighted to be working with companies of the stature of BAE Systems and British Airways."
