Account Manager - eLearning Solutions


An excellent opportunity exists for someone with an accomplished track record of managing existing client accounts and developing new client opportunities.

The role will involve managing ongoing client relationships and delivering growth plans in line with the account management strategy. Following up and prioritising new client leads and identifying and closing new business opportunities.

The focus will be to identify opportunities sell our technological learning solutions such as fully interactive, award winning e-learning & virtual reality computer based training programmes to new and existing clients.

Amongst our clients are global multi-nationals such as Aggreko, British Gas, Centrica, National Grid, Siemens, Saudi Aramco and Volkswagen, as well as and educational establishments all over the UK.

The candidate will have a proven record of achieving growth and revenue targets in excess of £400K per annum.


  • Manage, strengthen and grow relationships with existing clients
  • Effective prioritisation and follow up of current leads
  • Identify new business opportunities within both established and new client accounts
  • Proactively source new business in defined verticals
  • Telephone and field sales focused, meeting with clients and prospects when appropriate
  • Conduct client presentations as and when required
  • Attendance of appropriate networking events, exhibitions etc
  • Keep accurate opportunity and revenue forecasts
  • Deliver effective relationship development activity
  • Achieve revenues of circa £400K per annum (Year 1)
  • Manage sales cycles, sometimes with multiple decision makers and influencers
  • Set up and attend own prospect and client appointments
  • Produce creative and compelling proposals and bid responses

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years within a technology/training related sales position
  • Proven ability to achieve personal growth targets
  • Consultative sales experience (within technology/training)
  • Ability to talk confidently regarding the use and application of different learning technologies, solutions and devices
  • Ability to demonstrate technological products
  • Strong client facing, presentational and telephone skills
  • Solid understanding and genuine interest in the latest training trends and technologies
  • A proactive 'self-starter' approach towards business, and able to work on own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time well
  • The ability to develop and nurture relationships quickly
  • Versatile team member

Description of Location: South East - Milton Keynes

Starting Date: The post is available for an immediate start.

Duration: Full Time

Salary: Based upon experience.
