Technical Administrator


We are looking for an enthusiastic technical administrator to work with our production team to ensure that our e-learning and simulation software is located and works on the relevant network and or server locations for testing and delivery. You will be the first line IT support for operational staff interfacing with our existing IT department, and will work as part of a team to ensure operational efficiency to develop and deliver exciting online simulations and training solutions.

This role requires a good working knowledge of IT / Network infrastructure, policies, and technologies, plus excellent organisational abilities.


  • Be the first line support between operational staff and the IT department
  • Co-ordinate with our IT department and suppliers to resolve issues such as email logins, password updates, admin access, security, monitoring and addressing network issues and usage within required timescales
  • Ensuring software licences are accounted for and controlled, setting up and installation of new licences
  • Assist with software / hardware installations and issues
  • Support and manage web servers / services / FTP / LMS / CMS / other user setups, configurations, and administration
  • Maintain an understanding of existing and emerging IT processes
  • Provide reports as required by management team
  • Provide technical support to clients or internal projects as required
  • Supply other support as required by the business

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Confident with IT systems
  • Strong problem solving abilities with high attention to detail for finding/reporting issues
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Excellent communication skills and written/spoken English
  • Experience of web servers/services (hosted / managed / VPS)
  • Experience of SCORM and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an advantage
  • Ability to work on a multiple tasks and prioritise accordingly
  • Relevant IT / administration qualification

Description of Location: South East - Milton Keynes

Starting Date: The post is available for an immediate start.

Duration: FTC - 12 Fixed Months

Salary: Based upon experience.
